best speakers for music $150 or under?

I’m looking to upgrade my speakers with a low budget. These speakers will be used for music 90 percent of the time. My current setup is a yamaha natural sound htr-5930 receiver with a pair of yamaha ns-a636 bookshelf speakers and a JBL SUB10 powered subwoofer. the setup sounds good, but not great. the yamahas do not have the original tweeters as they were blown, so they were replaced with goldwood tweeters that closely matched the OEM pair. the rest of the speaker is original and in good condition. they just don’t have quite the pop i am looking for in a speaker. here is my criteria:

ability to go quite loud without distortion. sound quality is important to me, and when i say quite loud, i dont mean with the intention of making myself known, but i do like to "blast" music for my own pleasure. its not about bass rumbling but about clarity. i already have a sub for bass anyway.

i like to hear musical nuances. obviously this gets harder to recreate at high volumes especially with a cheap speaker. i understand this, so just do the best you can with this part.

overall i like a warm, room filling sounds. strong highs without being too harsh or bright. i listen to mainly rock variations…alternative, progressive, indie, modern, classic, etc. I will, once in a while, also listen to some classical music.

With all this said, what would you guys recommend? This is for my bedroom which is pretty small. are bookshelf speakers the way to go for music? will a small pair be able to produce enough volume? despite my current speakers being considered bookshelf style, they are relatively large. here they are for reference:

sorry for the long post. thanks for any help!

oh and here are the current pair of speakers im considering, i am sure they are of good quality and sound but im worried they are too small to fill the room with the sound im looking for…
